About Us

Our club raises between $7 -14 thousand each year.  Approximately 95% of this is donated back to our feathered friends, for research and rescue.  To our knowledge we are the only bird club in our area to donate this kind of money, and we do this while having FUN.

Club Overview

The purpose of the Central Indiana Cage Bird Club is to
(1) Educate it's members on matters pertaining to the environment, maintenance, diet, and well being of all species of birds. (2) Encourage it's members and the general public to breed and promote the welfare of all caged birds. (3) To provide guidelines and rules to the officers and members for the professional operation of the Club. (4) To give direction to the club's endeavors and to inspire harmony as the Club carries out it's work. (Taken from the bylaws)
